Following Notice No. 1089/XNK-XXHH of Agency of Foreign Trade (AFT) on the issuance of electronic C/O for 11 C/O forms E, AI, AJ, AANZ, AHK, RCEP, S, VC, VJ, VN-CU and CPTPP which were announced to you in KEN NEWS on 2nd January 2024, AFT issued Notice No. 14/TB-XNK to announce the issuance of C/O form AI under the framework of the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) for Vietnam's exported goods as follows:
- At the request of Indian customs authorities, the C/O issuing organizations continue to issue hard copies of C/O form AI for goods exported to AITIGA’s member countries.
- After being approved electronically on the ECOSYS system, C/O form AI have to been printed as hard copy and submits it to C/O issuing organizations.
- For shipments that have been issued electronic C/O form AI from 1st January 2024 up to now, AFT has requested Indian authorities to temporarily accept to Vietnam's goods will get preferential tariffs and will re-issue hard copy C/O with signature and stamp of the C/O issuing organization.
- The issuance of electronic C/O form AI will be announced by AFT after meeting with India and ASEAN member countries at the upcoming AITIGA Meeting.
