Vietnam - China railway transport route from Shijiazhuang City in China to Yen Vien Station in Hanoi, Vietnam is opened on 2rd August 2023. CMA CGM implements new overweight surcharge from Asia to Africa
CMA CGM has announced a new overweight surcharge (OWS) from Asia to Africa, effective in the next month. More specifically, the Maersille-based company said that it will apply a surcharge of US$150 per 20' dry container with a container gross weight of over 18 tons from North East Asia, South East Asia, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR & Macau SAR and Taiwan to Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola and Gabon The overweight surcharge will take effect on 14 August, according to CMA CGM's announcement.
