BAMBOO AIRLINES TEMPORARILY STOPPED OPERATING MANY INTERNATIONAL ROUTES

Bamboo Airlines announced the temporary suspension of international flights between Vietnam and the UK, Korea, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and Taipei (Taiwan, China).

In order to focus resources to ensure stable operations from November 2023, especially during the peak period at the end of the year and Lunar New Year 2024, Bamboo Airlines adjusted its plan to operate domestic and international flights in period from now until 30th March 2024.

Regarding the international flight routes, to ensure the concentration of resources and prioritize operational efficiency, the airline will temporarily suspend the operation of a number of routes in the Asian region including Hanoi - Bangkok (Thailand)/Narita (Japan)/Taipei (Taiwan, China) from 8th November, Ho Chi Minh City - Bangkok (Thailand) from 21st November, Ho Chi Minh City - Singapore from 4th November, Hanoi - Incheon (Korea) from 29th October.

Along with that, flights to Australia and Europe are also temporarily suspended such as Ho Chi Minh City - Sydney/Melbourne from 4th November, Hanoi - London Gatwick (UK) from 18th October, Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi - Frankfurt (Germany) from 4th November .

At the same time, Bamboo Airlines maintains stable operations of routes connecting major centers such as Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi - Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang and local routes connecting Hai Phong, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Dong Hoi, Hue, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Quy Nhon, Con Dao,...

Bamboo Airlines announced that it is drastically implementing solutions to comprehensively restructure, improve the efficiency of production and business activities, and build a new appropriate direction for the period of late 2023 and early 2024. They will focus on main routes to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang as well as international routes to Southeast Asia.
