Except of ASEAN countries, Vietnam is are continuing actively cooperated with a number of countries to connect the Single Window.
According to the General Department of Customs, currently, Vietnam maintains official connection to the ASEAN Single Window to exchange information on electronic form D Certificates of Origin with all 9 member countries. At the same time, Vietnam also coordinate with ASEAN countries to officially exchange ASEAN Customs Declarations.
Vietnam also prepares related requirements to connect the exchange of PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATE in 2023. At the same time, Vietnam will build solutions and process to connect and exchange electronic documents between ASEAN and partners such as: Japan, China, Korea.
Regarding connecting with partners outside ASEAN, Vietnam has completed a trial exchange of export customs declarations with the Eurasian Economic Union on period 1, and continues to coordinate on period 2.
Signed electronic origin data exchange (EODES) with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and General Department of Customs of Korea to facilitate the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement from 1st July 2023.
The General Department of Customs is coordinating with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the New Zealand Embassy in Vietnam to deploy a trial exchange of electronic PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATE with New Zealand.
